Patrons of Park Avenue (POPA) is excited to announce its second ever art installation on Park Avenue in the Murray Hill neighborhood of New York City with world-renowned artist, Carole A. Feuerman, and leading international art gallery, Galeries Bartoux. POPA would like to welcome Carole’s iconic monumental swimmers that have plunged into Park Avenue.
Carole A. Feuerman is an American sculptor and author working in hyperrealism. Being one of the three artists credited with starting the movement in the late 1970s, she is best known for her figurative works of swimmers and dancers. “This exhibition is not just about art but about creating a moment of pause and reflection for the viewers. A unique opportunity to take a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and immerse yourself in a surreal world of art,” said Carole Feuerman.
“We are honored to surprise you with the monumental artworks of hyperrealism pioneer Carole A. Feuerman on the famous Park Avenue malls of New York City. For 30 years we have strived to make art like this accessible to as many people as possible,” said Laura Bartoux of Galeries Bartoux.
“It is an honor to build upon our successful pilot art installation on Park Avenue in Murray Hill with this new showcase. I wholly welcome Carole Feuerman’s work and look forward to elevating New York City’s legacy of artistic excellence,” said Victoria Spagnola, Chairwoman of POPA.
